Shipping Policy

To ensure freshness of our products, which are perishable, all shipping is done Monday through Thursday.  Orders shipped to northeastern, mid-atlantic and midwestern states typically arrive in 2-3 days. All other postal territories should anticipate 3-4 days in transit. This 3-4 day transit may affect SITZENS products. We do not recommend sending  products outside the 2-3 day priority mail USPS zone in summer temperatures due to the perishable nature of the product, and we reserve the right to delay shipping dates accordingly.  You must always refrigerate or freeze SITZENS when they arrive. At this time, shipping outside of the lower 48 states is unavailable.


NOTE: Shipments during warm temperatures and to PO Boxes are at the purchaser's own risk. These shipments contain perishables. If you specify home delivery, please be sure that a recipient is there to receive it on the day of delivery. If sending as a gift, make sure the recipient's address is correct because the shipments may not survive extended time in transit. We ship most products USPS standard, USPS 2-3 day Priority Mail, or USPS 3-4 day Priority Mail, with tracking, to ensure a fresh delivery. CSA shipments requesting USPS Priority Express will have additional monthly shipping charges added to initial invoice. We will adjust shipment date of an order if we feel that it is at risk being delayed in transit due to weekend or holiday delays affecting transit, or when seasonal temperatures make safe transit of a fresh product unlikely. We always reserve the right to cancel an order due to the perishable nature of our product.
